Western support for Ukraine began with the delivery of non-lethal weapons, but now full-fledged Western involvement in the conflict with Russia is on the agenda, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 577.
Politico reported in early March that France was creating an alliance of countries ready to send their troops to Ukraine if necessary. Rzeczpospolita quoted Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski as saying that the presence of NATO forces in Ukraine was not unthinkable.
“Let us recall that everything started with the supply of non-lethal weapons and equipment, and now the full-fledged involvement of Western countries in the conflict is on the agenda,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
