The University of Tehran and Lomonosov Moscow State University launched several joint research projects in the field of space, said the rector of the University of Tehran Mohammad Mokimi, the Iranian government’s press service informed on March 9.
“The University of Tehran has started joint research work with MSU to develop research satellites,” he said.
Iran intends to launch three new satellites in 2024-2025: Nahid-2, Zafar-2 and Pars-1. In addition, it is planned to complete the construction of a new spaceport in Chabahar.
