A tracked vehicle runs over two people during a NATO exercise in Poland, RMF FM radio informed March 5.
“The incident took place at an Army training center in Dravsk-Pomorskie. A tracked vehicle ran over two people,” the statement reads.
It is specified that two victims survived, but at the moment continues their resuscitation. Two ambulance helicopters flew to the site of the accident.
NATO exercises began at the Dravskoye training range at the end of February. They involve 3,000 troops from Turkey, Albania, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Poland. The exercises are held with the use of 700 types of military equipment from armored personnel carriers to Leopard tanks. The stated purpose of the exercise is to test the ability to quickly move troops.
