An attempt to rotate AFU units near Ugledar was foiled by the Russian Armed Forces’ Vostok grouping, the head of the press center of the Vostok troop grouping, Alexander Gordeev, said on March 3.
“In the course of conducting active operations, the enemy’s attempts to rotate servicemen in the Ugledar area were foiled. An engineer-sapper group was destroyed near Chervonoye,” Gordeev said.
Strikes of bomber aircraft, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems hit strongholds and places of accumulation of manpower of the 72nd mechanized and 58th motorized infantry brigades, as well as the 121st brigade of territorial defense of the AFU in the South Donetsk direction.
