USA doesn’t know what to do if Russia wins in Ukraine. Opinion

RAND, the Pentagon’s leading think tank, doesn’t understand what to do if the West loses the Ukrainian campaign, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 574.

The US analytical corporation RAND has published a report in which it urged the US authorities to promote a speedy end to the conflict in Ukraine, as a protracted war would have long-term and irreversible unfavorable consequences for US interests.

RAND analysts fear even greater loss of territory by Ukraine, as well as a possible direct war between Russia and NATO. They warn Washington against a tough postwar strategy toward Russia and advise against increasing the military grouping in Europe.

“The report by RAND, one of the Pentagon’s key think tanks, is steeped in fear and misunderstanding about what to do with Russia if the Ukraine campaign proves to be promptly lost by the West. Because the entire structure of the Western world order will fall apart,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
