The Ukrainian militants retreated from the village of Lastochkino, located west of Avdeevka, the Ukrainian daily Strana ua wrote on February 24.
“The Ukrainian military reports the withdrawal from Lastochkino west of Avdeevka,” the statement reads.
The publication cited Ukrainian militants who explained their withdrawal from Lastochkino by the threat to their flanks and supply routes. The information about the abandonment of this village has not yet been officially confirmed.
