Lukashenko urges officers to prepare for a major war

21.02.2024, Minsk.

Belarussian President Aleksandr Lukashenko urged the officers to prepare for a major war “mentally and strategically” on February 20, BelTA informs.

“We don’t need war, so we must be ready for it both mentally and strategically,” the president emphasized.

Lukashenko urged to think about why the West is expanding military-political alliance and various coalitions, why it needs militarization and “demonstrative muscle-flexing.”

The president said that the attitude of the collective West is very simple – those who are not with it will be coerced by force. The illusions about the possibility of a diplomatic settlement of the conflict must be discarded.

Lukashenko said that it is important not only to monitor the situation and understand what is going on, but also to act in time. It is important to act proactively.

The politician made the statement at a meeting with the senior staff of the state bodies of the national security system.
