NATO is preparing to move troops to Russia’s borders. Opinion

The agreement to facilitate the movement of NATO troops through Germany, Poland and the Netherlands prepares a mechanism for the rapid deployment of NATO troops near Russia’s borders, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 572.

In late January, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands signed an agreement aimed at facilitating the movement of NATO troops through their territories.

Under the terms of the signed agreement, the parties intend to cut red tape that impedes the rapid movement of troops and weapons to NATO’s eastern flank.

“In essence, this is an agreement to accelerate the deployment of NATO troops on the eastern flank. And if, or rather, when, the rules of ‘military Schengen’ work, it will allow the key players of the alliance, primarily the United States, to freely deploy their troops on the territory of the countries – junior partners in fact, without wasting time on bureaucratic red tape,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
