In the conflict between the Islamic world and the Israelis, the unconscious is awakening in both sides giving the way to all sorts of brutality, political scientist, philosopher, analyst, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on October 30 on a special edition of the Destiny program.
The political scientist reminded those who are trying to say something soothing regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict about the events in Fergana [ethnic conflict between the Meskhetian Turks and the native Uzbeks in 1989] and Osh [ethnic conflict between the Kyrgyz and Uzbek communities in 1990]. He emphasized that he himself had been there and had seen severed heads. Essence of Time’s leader also advised to inquire about other inter-ethnic and inter-confessional conflicts.
“Inquire about the history of African conflicts and what happened in Sumgait [massacre that targeted the Armenian population of the lakeside town of Sumgait in the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic in late February 1988] and how interethnic conflicts started, as well as Fergana and Osh, as well as the Wahhabis, these ‘vovchiks’ [term used for Wahhabis supporters] in Tajikistan,” he said.
Sergey Kurginyan emphasized that several aspects are being activated in such conflicts. He emphasized the awakening of the unconscious.
“First and foremost, it is absolute mercilessness – and if a barbarian is formed, for whom the sphere of thought and everything else does not matter, and if he is stirred up – and he is stirred up – then his unconscious will produce anything,” the political scientist explained.
At the same time, Essence of Time’s leader also drew attention to the behavior of the Israeli side. He noted that he had heard at highbrow conferences that it was necessary to defeat the multi-million Islamic civilization by aerial bombing, which would kill 400 million people.
Sergey Kurginyan added that it was said by “the nicest people with higher education in physics, mathematics or other, refined and absolutely incapable of fighting physically.” He explained that when these people, embedded in consumer society and frightened of any challenge, see terror for the first time, they are paralyzed.
“And when they become paralyzed, and then their unconsciousness begins to work, there is no such brutality that this insane population is incapable of to protect their consumerist existence! So this temperature will rise, but it will rise here!” Kurginyan explained.
The political scientist went on to name two factors that could stop this brutality. The first, he said, is a combination of “expressive brutality and logical thinking addressed to those who are able to understand it.” As a second factor, he named other segments of Islam, which are authoritative for Islamic civilization and which are capable of extinguishing the conflict.
