What is happening now in Ukraine is the key to a new world order and US hegemony, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on August 25 in the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
According to the political scientist, Ukraine is at the forefront of this process.
“Ukraine is really under the rule of Nazi ideology: Bandera (Nazi collaborator during WWII) ideology, neo-Bandera ideology – it’s still Nazism, neo-Nazism, right? All similarly oriented structures in Europe, even small ones, will be drawn into it. They will undergo necessary training there, and corresponding infrastructure will be set up over there,” Kurginyan explained.
The world after the war, its foundations, will be revised in the process of reconstruction, the philosopher claims.
“This means that Europe is on the path to fascism, and therefore the US is on the same path through all that. And this will lead to a completely new world order; humanity is entering not just an era of global turbulence, but more powerful processes than turbulence – such global chaos, such a melt down where everything must be revised. And the first constant that should be revised is the Yalta-Potsdam system,” he explained.
According to Kurginyan, although Russia retained the status of a nuclear power after the collapse of the USSR, the US is striving to finish it off and organize a “soft”, gradual collapse of the country in order to ultimately establish complete control over it.
“We retained our seat in the UN Security Council, so to speak, it remained to be a nuclear country, the only one on the territory of the former Soviet Union, and so on. But everyone, “supposedly”, understood that everything was, “supposedly”, just a prologue to the further collapse of Russia – a gradual, steady, pro-American, creeping process of political collapse in order to seize control over Russia, which is the main overture to world domination,” – says the political scientist.
This is where the role of Ukraine is so important, believes Kurginyan. It is necessary for reformatting Russian-European relations and Europe itself.
Speaking about the US desire to dominate the Eurasian continent, he recalled Mackinder and his claim: “Whoever controls Eurasia would control the world.”
“There is certainly truth in these words. I don’t like this concept of Eurasianism, but I can say that Mackinder was onto something,” concluded Kurginyan.
