Odessa authorities report damage to port infrastructure after drone attack

The infrastructure of the port of Odessa was damaged by a drone strike, the head of the military administration of Odessa region Oleg Kiper wrote on September 13 on his Telegram channel.

“Unfortunately, there are hits. There is information about damage to the port and other civilian infrastructure,” he wrote.

Kiper specified that the Izmail district came under the attack. A fire started at the site. Rescuers began to extinguish it.

There was information about explosions in Sumy in Ukraine last night.

Ukrainian political analyst Oleg Soskin, a former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, said on September 7 that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was unable to organize the protection of Odessa’s infrastructure. The political analyst believes that strikes on the port have serious consequences for Ukraine.
