Eight Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed by Russian air defense forces near the Crimean coast while attempting to carry out terrorist attacks, the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters on September 10.
“On the night of September 10, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack with the use of aircraft-type UAVs on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was foiled,” the ministry said.
The agency specified that the drones were shot down over the waters of the Black Sea.
“Eight drones were destroyed by on-duty air defense means over the waters of the Black Sea near the coast of Crimea,” the Defense Ministry said.
