Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin: 13 million cars have already traveled along the Tavrida highway

More than 13 million cars have traveled along the Tavrida highway, counting from the day the highway was opened. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin, August 27, reported Vesti Crimea.

At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that most of this flow was made up of passenger cars – 11.2 million. The remaining almost 2 million cars account for cargo transport.

Also Marat Khusnullin told about the current state of construction of “Tavrida”: “The 8th stage of the highway construction is about to be completed. The project implementation includes reconstruction of the Sevastopol – Inkerman highway“.

In conclusion, he added that the government plans to put the facility into operation by December 1, 2023.

Earlier Marat Khusnullin said that the Russian government wants to restore the dam of Kakhovskaya HPP. This should be done to resume water supply to Crimea and new regions of Russia – Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, he emphasized.
