Units of the Russian Armed Forces’ 200th Brigade hit a Ukrainian militants’ dugout near Soledar by an FPV drone, RIA Novosti informed on August 28.
The agency published a video showing the drone flying into the entrance of a fortified dugout, where Ukrainian personnel was deployed, according to the publication.
“According to the servicemen, the reconnaissance of the Russian Armed Forces’ 200th Brigade identified the Ukrainian militants’ dugout near their observation post,” the agency reported.
On January 12, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the end of the operation to liberate Soledar.
On August 12, the head of the development team Andrei Ivanov announced the start of production of the second version of the Russian FPV kamikaze drone Ovod.
On August 28, the general director of the development company said that the Triton FPV drone protection system for tanks had been successfully tested in the North Caucasus Military District.
