No one discusses military strategy and the way it is built, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on June 20 in a new issue of his original broadcast Destiny.
“For some reason, no one today discusses military strategy and the way it is built. That first certain absolutely intangible and remote concepts appear. Then they take a shape of doctrines, then a theory is developed, then models are proposed within the theory, and then a strategy based on those models appears. This is a very complex path,” Kurginyan said.
He noted that only afterwards certain elements of practical actions appear within this strategy, which “finally produce a seemingly very simple thing like a tank or an aircraft.”
According to Kurginyan, aircraft and tanks do not appear just like that, “several freaks or brilliant engineers gathering together at a plant cannot create military equipment.”
“New or almost unnoticed Clausewitzes etc. create military equipment. Or some philosophers who prepare soil for these Clausewitzes. And then it all comes to the tanks and the aircraft,” the political scientist said.
In conclusion, Kurginyan quoted the verses that were left out of Aleksandr Pushkin’s novel Yevgeny Onegin where the Decembrists had their very early conversations:
“First those talks that we had
Between Lafite and Clicqost
Were only friendly arguments”.
