With a possible reconciliation in Ukraine, the West actually wants to buy time, deplete Russia, and prepare for the upcoming war with China, according to a summary from the war theater in the Essence of Time newspaper, No. 535.
The Western media is widely discussing the possible freezing of the conflict in Ukraine. For example, American journalist Seymour Hersh writes that a group of European states, led by Poland, is calling on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to stop the conflict.
The British Financial Times reports that Western countries will be forced to call on Ukraine for peace talks if its counteroffensive fails. The US publication Politico also writes that US authorities are preparing for a likely scenario of a freezing of the conflict in Ukraine.
“One part of the West pretends that it wants reconciliation, while the other part increases the supply of weapons and their lethality. The goal is to buy time, deplete Russia’s resources and simultaneously rock its military-industrial complex for a future war with China,” says the editorial in the Essence of Time newspaper.
