The US is creating a new world disorder which is completely incompatible with the so-called effective multilateralism – a multipolar world, said political scientist, analyst, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on May 12 in the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
According to Sergey Kurginyan, Russia has lost not during the Soviet Union, when there was a bipolar world of the two superpowers, it happened later, “because it believed that Uncle Sam is good, kind, and wants to be a friend.”
That said, it was a colossal loss for Russia, while the US became an uncontrollable force, capable of imposing its will on the entire world. “And Uncle Sam has lost control of his ambitions. He’s gone crazy, this American Uncle Sam. He started bombing the whole world, initiating all sorts of anti-humanistic nonsense, imposing hell on the world and continuing this expansion until the actual collapse of humanity, which must come under his total control,” believes the political scientist.
Later, the US influence began to weaken while China and India started to rise, noted Kurginyan. “It was wrong to think that they would abandon their development after they gained their independence, Roosevelt was a key person behind that. And they began to develop at an astonishing rate. Uncle Sam realized that the ground was slipping from under his feet, and realized that this versatile development in many directions is the end of his hegemony,” says Kurginyan.
According to Kurginyan, in order to solve this problem the US began to curtail its policies aimed at “essentially any effective multilateral development”. Russia’s attempt to change the situation ran into even tougher measures from the US, stressed Kurginyan.
“And when we said: we, unilaterally, are ending the ideological confrontation, which is the basis for the Cold War, what did Uncle Sam do? He unilaterally imposed a new ideological confrontation to the world and announced that from this great ideological Tower of Babel he managed to build – from its very top, it’s better see who is good and who is bad,” explained the leader of Essence of Time.
He also pointed out that, from the US’ point of view, authoritarian countries have become bad and a series of color revolutions and military conflicts have begun.
During the bipolar world, the USSR was not at all losing, said Kurginyan
“Uncle Sam can continue ruling only if there is chaos, blood and horror all over the world, then he will have a relatively well-to-do hegemony. And he can score a victory with this ‘relatively’ well. And he is still not exactly sure how to set up and keep up this mess that he’s creating, a new world disorder – as opposed the new world order”, said the political scientist.
The new world disorder cannot be combined with effective multilateralism, and this has already been declared by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who explained to the US that it is “ruining effective multilateralism, which serves as a basis for the UN,” stated Kurginyan.
