In condemning authoritarian modernization as an evil, the USA denies the peripheral countries any development, and it is making its stake on the “new world disorder,” philosopher and political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on May 12 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
The political scientist stressed that authoritarianism is the key condition for the formation of self-reliant centers of development. He explained that these new centers cannot form solely by economy, because a strong statehood is necessary for their formation, which is called authoritarian. According to Kurginyan, the West previously encouraged this pattern of the development of the periphery as good.
“Previously, this was called authoritarian modernization, and the whole world outside the core … was supposed to be able to develop solely based on a strong statehood to overcome the tribal differences etc., an this is the environment for the formation of a new peripheral modernized world. Authoritarian modernization is the key good precondition for the periphery to take the path of modernization and to practically accomplish that modernization – this is what was previously said,” the leader of Essence of Time stressed.
However, Kurginyan noted, since the Club of Rome was established, a different concept began to form, according to which the peripheral states should not be modernized, but they should be made archaic. This is when authoritarianism was condemned as an evil, and “democracy” was declared good for the periphery.
“A democracy of all the archaic tribes is needed across Africa. All the tribes should democratize, i.e. exterminate each other. And this will bring the new world disorder, i.e. a new chaos, or archaization,” the philosopher explained the new West’s approach.
Kurginyan pointed out that dangerous processes are taking place not only in the peripheral countries, but in Europe, too. There, the concept of regionalism has been adopted.
“And what should be in Europe? Regionalism. According to what plan? According to the plan that Schellenberg and Himmler proposed for Europe in 1944, the SS plan of burgs and regionalization. This plan has already been accepted, and now the UN has been stupid enough to swallow this European crap, with far-reaching consequences,” the political scientist stressed.
