The United States realized that China was progressing and needed to go to war with it, so they called it an authoritarian country and declared authoritarianism as the enemy, said philosopher, analyst, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on the air of the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda on May 12.
“The Americans have been thinking and thinking and thinking and finally realized that they need to fight China – either softly or hard. Or surrender. There is no third choice,” said the political scientist.
He also noted that the Americans, playing today in the economic and foreign policy field, use a very simple scheme. Its essence is that if China used to be a friend of the United States since the times of Henry Kissinger (Secretary of State in 1973-1977), now it has to be somehow turned into an enemy.
“And how is it, the bloody bastard, to be ranked in the camp of the enemy, if it resists, and it actually has the first economy in the world? It should simply be called an authoritarian country. They used to say: “The death of ideology,” “ideology is over,” and so on and so forth. Suddenly, the Americans themselves have invented the ideological opposition of ‘democracy versus authoritarianism,” explained the Essence of Time leader.
Kurginyan reminded the US used to say that authoritarianism is a good thing, and made friends with authoritarian countries. They needed this opposition of authoritarianism supporting private property to the “totalitarian” Soviet Union. But today this concept of the United States has fundamentally changed.
“Now the authoritarianism has become the enemy, the enemy of the Americans. They formalized it – not legally, but ideologically, and this is more powerful – and said that China is part of the authoritarian camp, almost leading it along with Russia, and authoritarianism is a mortal enemy,” said the political scientist.
According to him, China expected to continue cooperation with the United States and did not expect to be listed as an enemy. But the Americans started the game by new rules.
“And it (China – note by Rossa Primavera News Agency) began to say: ‘Look, let’s not be so tough, well, we are comrades, we are brothers, we produce all of your products. They say to him, ‘No, yesterday you were a brother, but you, bloody bastard, are developing too fast and now you have become an enemy because you are authoritarian,’” Kurginyan clarified the US position.
