Leonid Pasechnik, the acting head of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), explained the meaning of the missile attack on Luhansk by Kiev regime troops on May 12 on his Telegram channel.

“The attack on the city on holiday is yet another attempt by the Kiev terrorist regime to intimidate peaceful citizens,” Pasechnik wrote.

All operational services are working at the site of the strike. Information about the victims and the damage is being clarified, the LPR head added.

The missile attack targeted the enterprise Polypak, which is located on the territory of the former Machine Plant 100.

On May 12, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics celebrate the ninth anniversary of their formation. In 2014, in a referendum, the residents of Donbass voted for independence and secession from Ukraine.
