Seven villages left without electric power in the Belgorod region in Russia after Ukrainian armed units’ shelling

Seven villages were left without electric power due to shelling of the Belgorod region by the Ukrainian armed units, Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on Telegram on May 11.

“Today a district in the Belgorod region came under shelling by the Ukrainian armed units. There were no casualties. In the village of Cheremoshnoye, shells damaged the power line. Seven villages remain without electricity: Yasnyye Zori, Cheremoshnoye, Ustinka, Lozovoye, Rovenyok, Petrovka, Solovyovka,” he wrote.

The governor noted that emergency services and employees of public-traded energy company are already eliminating the consequences of the shelling by the Ukrainian armed units.

Earlier, Vyacheslav Gladkov informed that the air defense system shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Ukrainian armed units in the sky over the Belgorod region.
