Kurginyan explains how long China will not be a threat to Russia

04.04.2023, Moscow.

China and other countries that support Russia today are not a threat to us as long as our state is stable, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview to the BelTA Belarusian channel published on March 23.

The host asked whether Russia and Belarus will be able to defend their place on the globe in the context of a shift of powers, when the hegemony of the West is ending, while the Eastern countries are gaining power.

Of course, they will. It is not dangerous now,” Kurginyan answered.

However, the political scientist reminded his conversation with a very significant Chinese official that took place a long time ago.

Please tell your officials that as long you keep minimal stability we are not looking your way, we are looking to the south. This is more convenient to us, it is warmer, etc. But if start wobbling, we would not be able to restrain ourselves,” Kurginyan quoted the Chinese politician.

Therefore, according to the political scientist, the anti-Americanism of our neighbors today is “very conditional and cautious,” and their policy will be different if Russia and Belarus fail in their confrontation with the West.
