Russian Investigative Committee: Suspect in Tatarsky’s assassination detained

Darya Trepova, suspected of assassinating war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky, was detained, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported on April 3.

Trepova was detained on suspicion of involvement in the explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg. Employees of the Investigative Committee and police carried out the detention.

Tatarsky (Maksim Fomin) died on April 2 in a terrorist attack. As a result of the explosion, 24 people were injured. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Article 105.
