23.03.2023, Donetsk.

Demining engineers of the National Guard of Russia in the Donetsk People’s Republic found an explosive device taped to a utility pole of a high-voltage power line during an engineering reconnaissance, the agency’s press service reported on March 23.

“Engineers of the National Guard of Russia during an engineering reconnaissance of the area found an improvised explosive device taped to the base of one of the utility poles of a high-voltage power line near a town in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the report reads.

It is specified that the explosives were bags with two metal cartridges filled with TNT. Specialists were engaged in demining them for several hours.

The deminers moved the charge a few dozen meters away from the power line and carefully disconnected them from the poles. Then, with the help of superimposed charges, the explosives were destroyed.
