An attack by the Ukrainian armed units near the town of Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) was repulsed. Russian Armed Forces continue to advance near the village of Serebryanka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), former LPR ambassador to Moscow Rodion Miroshnik wrote on his Telegram channel on March 10.
“On the Kremennaya direction, the action has intensified. Since the morning, Ukrainian armed units attempted to attack along the Chervonopopovka direction. Initial forces [of Ukrainian units] were not enough, they tried to redeploy reserves, which were attacked by our artillery. After suffering losses, they returned to their initial positions. The attack failed,” the statement reads.
Miroshnik also wrote that the Russian Air Force together with artillery actively attacked on the places of deployment of Ukrainian security forces. Armored vehicles moved into combat positions, and artillery duels continued throughout the day.
