The entire terrorist network organized by the Security Service of Ukraine [SBU] was destroyed in Transnistria, the head of the republic Vadim Krasnoselsky said in a video address on March 9.
“We have neutralized everyone: the network that was [created] here in Transnistria. To date, one question remains open – it is the level of decision-making to commit an act of terrorism in Transnistria,” Krasnoselsky said.
According to him, the republic’s authorities are preparing an appeal to the UN Security Council concerning the prevented terrorist act.
On March 9, the security ministry of Transnistria announced that it had prevented an attempt on the life of Vadim Krasnoselsky, the head of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The suspects have been detained and are confessing.
According to the ministry, the SBU directly supervised the preparation of the assassination of Vadim Krasnoselsky.
