The attempted assassination of Transnistria’s head Krasnoselsky was prepared on the orders of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Ministry of State Security of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic (TMR) said on March 9.
The ministry’s website reports that a terrorist attack was prevented. “The crime, on the instructions of the Security Service of Ukraine, was being prepared against a number of officials of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic. The suspects have been detained. They are confessing,” the statement reads.
The agency said that detailed information will be presented today in the investigative film of the TMR Investigative Committee “On the threat of a terrorist attack in Transnistria” at 8.00 p.m. on the First Transnistrian TV Channel.
