Millions of people support Nazism in Ukraine, Vladimir Ovchinsky, retired major-general of militia, doctor of law, former head of Russian Interpol bureau, former advisor to the chairman of the Constitutional Court, said at the presentation of the multi-authored monograph Ukrainism on March 4.
According to him, shortly before the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine – at the end of 2021 – US intelligence was constantly repeating that Russia was about to start military action. And then there was a social media survey.
There is a system, Ovchinsky said, that “with the help of artificial intelligence algorithms, it dissects all social networks, all forums, all discussions and gives the final result in a short time.” And this system is better than US and Chinese analogues.
“Here on the eve of the special operation, we just asked for figures: what is the real state of fascism in Ukraine? It (the algorithm) gives a simple reference, a few positions: 40 million population, 10 million are constantly looking at pro-fascist ultranationalist websites, 2 million are giving likes, and 200 thousand are active members of fascist organizations,” Ovchinsky says.
“200,000 in December 2021 – still two months before the special operation. Apparently, our certain departments and ministries also had this information,” concluded the expert.
