Security forces are operating in the Bryansk region throughout the Sushany territory, and there is no information about the number of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG) that have invaded the region, the Zvezda TV channel reported on March 2, citing the press secretary of the regional governor, Yulia Starovoitova.
The press secretary confirmed earlier information that a Ukrainian DRG was operating in the Bryansk region. According to a number of sources, nationalists have taken local residents hostage, but the spokeswoman declined to comment on the number of DRGs and possible hostages.
She noted that there are security forces – border guards and the Russian army – operating in the entire territory of the Sushany settlement.
