The special military operation (SMO) has revealed that the country is not ready for a medium positional war; that, in spite of numerous drawbacks of the army, the soldiers demonstrate heroism; and that Europe is ready to commit seppuku, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement on February 18 on the Right to Know program on the TVC channel.
Answering a question, the political scientist listed the important things that the SMO has exposed one year after its beginning.
One of the most important findings is that the country has turned out to be unprepared for “a medium-sized positional attrition warfare.”
“No one knew how many shells we could actually supply. No one knew that we would use this many,” he explained. According to Kurginyan, the SMO has demanded absolutely different resources than it was expected before its beginning.
The second unpleasant finding is the “astonishing number of frauds” revealed in the Russian army. According to the expert, the army became a periphery of the society in the post-perestroika period, and this accounts for its condition.
However, Kurginyan stressed, an important finding of today is that, despite the condition of the army, our soldiers demonstrate heroism and courage.
“The fourth finding is how hysterical the Western world behaves, including Europe, which is ready to commit seppuku, total suicide, for the sake of their Ukrainian and US masters,” the analyst continued.
The fifth finding of today, according to the philosopher, is that a number of countries (China, India, UAE etc.) remain resistant to the pressure from the West, and they refuse to “play the role of an absolute US’ lacquey” as they used to do in the Ronald Reagan period during the collapse of the Soviet Union.
On the other hand, Kurginyan stressed, they “refuse to take the Russian side to the full extent, they are wriggling.”
“All these were absolutely astonishing inner discoveries to me,” the expert noted.
The main finding of the current period, however, according to Kurginyan, is President of Russia Vladimir Putin, who had courage to initiate the SMO. “Inside all this there is an existential, I would say metaphysical, position of the president, who was building something that he loved – I could see this as one cannot be building something without love – and then one day he is doing something that flies in the face to everything he had done, and thus he inevitably returns the country to absolutely different phases of its existence, which are much closer to the Russian essence,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement concluded.
