26.02.2023, Paris

Thousands of French citizens marched on February 26 for the second national demonstration for peace, against the escalation in Ukraine and against arms supplies to the Zelensky regime. The protest march was broadcast live on video by Reservoir Apps user on the Youtube channel.

On Sunday, February 26, a second nationwide march “for peace, for the withdrawal from NATO, for a stop to arms supplies to Kiev” has been taking place in Paris since 2:00 p.m. Like the first protest demonstration of February 12, the march was organized by the French sovereignty-defending party The Patriots of Florian Philippot.

The meeting point was the RER Port Royal commuter train station in the fifth arrondissement of the capital. After the speeches at the meeting point, the participants went in columns through the streets of Paris to the center of the capital, where the final rally was to be held. In addition to Florian Philippot, the head of The Patriots, French politicians and opinion leaders such as Jacques Cheminade, head of Solidarité et Progrès, and others were to speak at it.

“1 year of war, 1 year of propaganda and lies, 1 year of sending weapons and money for nothing, 1 year of submission to the EU and NATO, which pushes for World War 3. Enough is enough! Long live peace outside of militant oligarchy! Meeting in Paris on 26/02 #MarcheNationalePourLaPaix (Nationwide March for Peace),” was said in a call to come to the protest in The Patriots’ Telegram channel.

For his part, Filippo encouraged those willing to come to the demonstration on Saturday by tweeting about the success of the protesters in Berlin against arms supplies to Kiev, “Huge success of the peace march in Berlin today! 25,000 demonstrators demand an end to arms deliveries to Zelensky and a peace plan against World War III! This Sunday, the French will also march for peace! A national march in Paris and 30 other cities!”

In Paris during the first national demonstration for peace and against arms supplies to Kiev two weeks ago, Florian Philippot cut the NATO flag in two.
