Many features of the Soviet Union were determined by the fact that the West hates us fiercely and will try to destroy anyway, stated philosopher, analyst, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview with the Belorussian TV ONT channel on February 15.
After a year of special operation, what happened to the Soviet Union in 1991 should not be evaluated in the same way as before. Firstly, according to the good role that the Soviet Union played for the people of our country and all of humanity.
And secondly, many features of the Soviet Union were defined by the fact that the West hates Russia fiercely and will try to destroy it anyway.
“So when we create some resources that seem heavy, inconvenient, redundant, it is built not because of excessive well-being, but because people feel that an intense period may come and in this period all these heavy unnecessary resources will be the most important,” he said.
We are talking about reserve cadre divisions consisting of officers, which in case of mass mobilization must take command and train the conscripts, dual purpose factories, reserve production, huge mobilization reserves, huge military expenditures and many other things, which in post-Soviet Russia seemed to be an unnecessary encumbrance.
“On the one hand, it is very easy to criticize it and say: ‘Why so much? What’s it for?” But on the other hand, all of a sudden it turns out to be very necessary,” Kurginyan stressed.
“This is something that has not yet been recognized to the necessary extent, but which everyone already understands. Everyone who is set up to fight,” he added.
