Russia and China remain committed to a multipolar world, Director of the Chinese Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission Wang Yi said at a press conference at the Russian Foreign Ministry on February 22.
The diplomat stressed that despite the volatile international situation, China and Russia have maintained their strategic determination and commitment to a multipolar world.
Wang is currently on a visit to Russia. On February 21, he held a meeting with the head of the Russian Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev. On February 22, he is scheduled to meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.
On February 21, the New York Times reported that President Xi Jinping plans to visit Russia in late April or early May.
