After communism left the historic stage, the world faced de-Christianization, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on February 8 on the air of the Union channel of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The political scientist urged to consider what has been taking place in the world after the communist ideology began to retreat. “Take a closer look at how it was retreating. It was retreating in a way that a de-Christianization of Europe began one year after communism left in 1992,” Sergey Kurginyan said. “Even Poland began to de-Christianize, which was absolutely difficult to imagine.”

Kurginyan reminded that late pope of Polish origin, John Paul II, said that “a civilization of death” was coming.

Thus, as soon as communism left, de-Christianization immediately began,” the political scientist noted. “And then the process went really far. It organically goes the same way as everything I have been talking about. These rivers merge in a strange kind of a sea which is even more terrible than Hitlerism. And all this is taking place around Russia.”
