The Tu-95MSM missile-carrying airplane made another test flight, the OAK press service reported on January 16.
During the test, the systems and equipment were checked.
Tu-95MSM is a prototype and a new modification of Tu-95MS – the fastest turboprop-powered missile carrier.
The missile carrier has been deeply modernized. It is assumed that as a result of modifications significantly increased the efficiency and reliability of systems when using the aircraft for its intended purpose.
Work on the Tu-95MSM is carried out jointly with the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Research and Technology Complex and Tupolev PJSC.
