Kurginyan tells about convergence of Nazism with Western liberalism

After World War Two the West incorporated outstanding Nazis, and they continued elaborating on Nazism, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview to Anna Shafran on the Zvezda radio station published on January 13 on YouTube.

Kurginyan noted that the West only fought the Nazis for a little while, and then a different process began.

Having fought them for a little while, they immediately began to gather them to the US and the UK. For example, they took all the fiercest Bandera Nazis to the UK to foster them there. As for Japanese war criminals or German war criminals, they were taken to the US, he explained.

The political scientist stressed that it was not something of minor importance: structures like World Anti-Communist League etc. were formed, so almost all the Nazis were packed in certain matrices.

They became part of the American society. I call this process the convergence of Nazism and the Western liberalism (…) of the Western civilization. Nazism became its part. This process is hardly ever detected. According to all the people I know, including those familiar with the anti-Nazi Europe, Wernher von Braun was the key figure in promoting this Nazi process inside the United States and NATO, Kurginyan said.

According to Kurginyan, there were many people of that kind: Skorzeny integrated into the Western elite very easily, and many, many others followed him. The political scientist stressed that Nazism gained new power by converging with the US and NATO, and this movement merged old traditions with new ones, and it produced even newer traditions, and certain “prejudices” were lifted, such as ultra-antisemitism.

Kurginyan believes that as a result the West today is not full of indignation or even surprise at the old racial theories that are repeated. Any exclamations like “Well, it smells Hitler, indeed!” this West replies “And so what? It is a beautiful flavor, a wonderful scent, a very good one.”
