Air Defense Forces shoot down drones near Sevastopol airport

An air defense system shot down drones near Belbek airport in northwest Sevastopol, city’s Governor Mikhail Razvozzhayev wrote on his Telegram channel on January 4.

He wrote in a message, “In the morning air defense systems shot down two UAVs over the sea near Belbek. All services are working in normal mode”.

Air defense systems are active in Crimea and Sevastopol since August 2022. As a rule, they shoot down small drones. In these areas, there is a high, “yellow”, level of terrorist danger and a medium level of response mode.
