Russia has supported CAR President Touadera in his desire to provide the country with quality infrastructure and expressed its willingness to help rebuild roads, which are important for the development of the CAR economy.

A repair and construction crew from Russia has already rebuilt more than half of the Sibut-Grimari road. Earlier drivers needed three hours to travel this distance, now the road takes only one hour of time.

Locals are approaching the workers, shaking hands with them, and helping in any way they can by offering them shelter and food. Local security forces are assisting with road closures for heavy equipment.

Following numerous requests from local residents, the Russian road workers decided to extend the work and restore another section of the Grumari-Bambari road.
