17.12.2022, Moscow.

The actions of the Ukrainian armed units in transferring foreign weapons, ammunition and reserves to the front line have been disrupted, Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said during a briefing on December 17.

The ministry’s report reads that on 16 December, the Russian Armed Forces had successfully carried out a strike with long-range precision-guided naval and airborne weapons against Ukrainian military command and control systems, military-industrial complex and other facilities that provide them with power supply.

“As a result of the strike, the transfer of foreign-made weapons and ammunition was disrupted, the movement of reserves to the battle areas was blocked, Ukrainian defense enterprises producing and repairing weapons, military equipment and ammunition stopped their work,” the report reads.
