Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to hold talks with White House head Joe Biden, but not on the condition of stopping a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, Kremlin press service head Dmitry Peskov said in a conversation with reporters on December 2.

“To achieve our goals, President Putin was, is and remains open. The preferred way to achieve our interests is through peaceful diplomatic means,” he said.

Peskov stressed that it is impossible to satisfy Washington’s demand for an end to the special operation. According to him, the special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine will continue.

On December 1, US President Joe Biden said that he was ready to negotiate with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. In this case, Russia must stop the special operation for the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine.
