The Russian army destroyed a base in the DPR near Chasov Yar, where foreign mercenaries were stationed, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov told reporters on December 2.
The location of the foreign mercenaries serving in the Ukrainian armed units was hit with precise strikes by Russian artillery and military aviation.
Ukrainian fighters and equipment in 184 areas in the special operation zone were also eliminated.
“78 artillery units in firing positions, Ukrainian army manpower and military equipment in 184 areas, as well as a temporary foreign mercenary position in the Chasov Yar town of the Donetsk People’s Republic were hit,” the report reads.
According to Konashenkov, the Ukrainian army’s attack near Ugledar was repulsed. The Ukrainian armed units lost 50 fighters. A tank and three APCs were also destroyed.
