Anti-government rally takes place in Prague

An anti-government rally was held in Prague, Czech Radio reported on November 26.

The protest took place in Letna Park. Police reported that about 600 people took part in the rally.

The organizer was the National Council for Renewal. The protesters demanded that the authorities lower electricity prices. Also among the demands were calls for the nationalization of underground gas storage facilities.

The “National Council for Renewal” stated that it did not claim political power, but only wanted action from the current government.
