Troops of the Kiev regime may destroy the dam of the Kakhovskaya HPP, the acting head of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said on October 18 on his Telegram channel.
“There is an immediate danger of flooding of territories due to the planned destruction of the Kakhovskaya HPP dam and the discharge of water from the cascade of power plants upstream of the Dnepr,” Saldo said.
Saldo urged residents of the aforementioned areas to leave their housing, promising that Russian authorities would provide housing certificates to those who decide to move to other regions of Russia.
Earlier, General Sergei Surovikin, commander of the Russian group of troops in the zone of the special military operation in Ukraine, warned that NATO was pressuring the military command of the Kiev regime, demanding offensive operations, without regard to casualties among both military and civilians.
