The attempted offensive by the Ukrainian armed unit in the Kherson region failed. The region’s Acting Deputy Governor Kirill Stremousov said this on October 15 in his Telegram channel.
“The offensive of the Ukranazis in the Kherson region has completely failed. The Russian army completely repulsed the attempted breakthrough along the Beryislav direction in the Kherson region,” he said.
Earlier the head of Novokakhovsky urban district of Kherson region Vladimir Leontiev said that as a result of regular shelling by the Ukrainian armed units, about 350 residential buildings in the city were damaged to some extent, that is about 70% of their total number.
There are signs on the streets of the city that read “Citizens! This side of the street is the most dangerous during shelling”.
Villages and towns in the Kherson region are subjected to constant shelling by the Ukrainian army. At the same time, schools, social infrastructure, and residential buildings are hit.
