A medium war in a gray zone is a key concept for the USA, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 17 in a conceptual interview about the events in the country and worldwide.
According to the political scientist, this is a very important concept. Based on this concept, the following is said, “Well, now some is showing off, someone is going up, someone is going down. But how can we tell who is worth what and what they are capable for? Let us see who is bigger… In real life, in a gray zone, in a conventional manner, to a little extent, on an appropriate territory, in order to match strength with each other and proceed into the next phase.”
Kurginyan noted that, answering such offers from US experts, he said that this gray zone would quickly drift elsewhere.
“They can start matching their potentials, and then they can go too far with it. Which is very dangerous. But they said, ‘No, this is the best thing that can happen!’” the analyst noted.
He indicated that Ukraine in this sense is a gray zone because it is not a NATO member state.
Also, Kurginyan noted, for the collective West the war in Ukraine has a fundamental meaning.
“They directly consider the war in Ukraine as their existential war against Russia, and they directly stress that they could afford losing in Vietnam, but they must not lose in Ukraine,” the analyst stressed.
