Ukrainian armed unit with foreign mercenaries tries to break through into the LPR

100-strong unit with 10 vehicles tried to break through into the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic, LPR People’s Militia officer Andrei Marochko said on the air of Channel One on October 3.

“There were about 100 fighters and more than 10 units of special vehicles,” Marochko said.

According to him, the Ukrainian army unit wAs forced to return to its original positions, and the losses of the Ukrainian side are specified.

“Now the Ukrainian troops consist not only of the Ukrainian fighters. I do not exclude that foreign mercenaries were also present in this unit, because they lead such operations,” he added.

Today the State Duma adopted in the first reading and as a whole four federal constitutional laws on the accession of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to the Russian Federation.
