Combat in the Kharkov region is underway along the entire contact line, the regional Council of Ministers informed on September 8.
“Combat is underway along the entire contact line. However, humanitarian aid continues to be provided to the population in towns and villages,” the statement said.
The civil-military administration of the Kharkov region recommended that all families with children temporarily leave the areas near the Ukrainian-Russian border.
“The military-civil administration recommends that families with children temporarily leave the dangerous areas,” the council wrote.
Earlier, the civil-military administration of the region said that the attack of the Ukrainian military attempting to encircle Balakleya was repulsed. Balakleya is located the part of the Kharkow region under the control of Russia.
