Ukrainian troops on direct orders from Zelensky launched an offensive in the Nikolayev and Kherson regions along three directions during the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on August 29.
According to the statement, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 26 Ukrainian tanks, 23 IFVs, and shot down two Su-25 jet aircraft during an attempted offensive by the Ukrainian army. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on 29 August.
Ukrainian troop casualties in manpower amounted to more than 560 servicemen.
