The Ukrainian armed units attacked the town of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region from HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, deputy head of the military and civil administration of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov said, TASS reported on August 22.
“Strikes are being carried out, the Ukrainian armed units are attacking Novaya Kakhovka from HIMARS. There were attacks today,” Stremousov explained.
The press service of the military-civil administration of the Kherson region reported that on August 22, as a result of a daytime attack from US rocket systems Himars on the Antonov bridge during restoration works, at least 16 civilian employees of the local repair team were injured, of which 2 people died.
Stremousov called the act of the Ukrainian armed units a terrorist attack on civilians.
