The military conflict in Ukraine is unprecedented for Europe since the end of World War Two, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on August 18 in a new issue of his original program Destiny published on the movement’s YouTube channel.
“The military conflict in Ukraine is tremendous,” Kurginyan said. He believes that in Europe after the period of World War Two, nothing even remotely similar to the conflict in Ukraine today took place. Never after 1945 did millions of people fight in Europe using almost all of the available conventional weapons.
“It was never discussed so often and so harshly that this conflict can escalate to other, non-conventional weapons. The global forces, be they the USA, the West, or the deep state, never considered a conflict to be so globally important,” the political scientist stressed.
According to Kurginyan, the West never said directly before that it was not the Russians fighting the Ukrainians, but “we are fighting the Russians, and we must not lose this war. We could afford losing in Vietnam in the period we fought the USSR, but here we cannot afford it. Therefore, we will do everything we can for our victory! Yes! For our victory, not a Ukrainian one!”
The leader of Essence of Time pointed out the most obvious reason why the West prioritizes the Ukrainian conflict so much. For the first time in the history of the world, the West feels that real-world processes “undermine” its global leadership, the expert added.
“The Asian economies are growing too fast, and not only the Chinese one, but also the Indian one, and maybe other ones; also, the Western people cannot work as hard as billions of the Chinese, Indians, Vietnamese, Koreans, Indonesians etc.; instead, they want to get more working less,” the crisis analyst explained.
The only deterrence for the humanity that remains available to the West is the fact that it defeated the Soviet superpower in 1991, Kurginyan noted. He added that this defeat is what the Western countries threaten all disobedient countries with, showing that there is no reason for them to resist as these states are definitely weaker than the USSR and so they would be defeated even faster. This has been demonstrated on Yugoslavia, Iraq, and the North African countries.
“However, these demonstrations, firstly, have turned out not to be convincing enough, because the West left not only Iraq but also Afghanistan, and because something dubious remains ongoing in the Balkan region. And secondly, everyone understands that countries that are not really big and that have no nuclear potential can really become extremely dependent of the USA. And also that there are a different kind of countries,” Kurginyan noted.
According to the political scientist, it is these major countries to whom the USA need to show that, although there is Russia, there is a kind of a European or Western European community, a sort of a European potential, there are China and India, “but we hold their throat in an iron grip. That the population of the globe must not get out of total obedience to our Western will. And that we will mercilessly suppress any feast of disobedience.”
The West, according to the political scientist, wants to tell the rest of the world that such a feast is not really possible, because it knows how to bring elites and people to the condition of total obedience that cannot be escaped, and any convulsions of that kind are always accidental.
